I am exhibiting at the Created In Portsmouth Arts Trail next weekend.

For those of you who don't know, Created In Portsmouth is an annual Art Trail that takes place on the Island of Portsea, local artists and makers will be opening their studios and homes to the general public. You can walk, cycle or even drive around the island for the opportunity to meet the makers, observe artistic processes and see the amazing artwork that is produced.â €
This is a free event and a great opportunity for everyone to see and get to know the amazing creatives we have on our doorstep.

I live and work  in Drayton  so I'm a little far out for people to visit so I'll be pitching my wares at the Round Tower on Fri 12th- Sun 14th OCT 2018. It's a great opportunity to view all the different arts styles going on in the city. If you decide to visit come and say hello! I'd love to see you there.â €
Opening times:
Fri 10am-9pm
Sat 10am-4pm
Sun 10am-4pmâ €

Can't believe my 5 week Sketching course is over already. They say 'time flies when you're having fun' and it was certainly true in this case. After a rocky start with the weather, (snow killed my car on the first week and I had to get a lift from my amazing neighbour. Phew!) we soon forgot the cold and cracked on with learning techniques for drawing. We learnt the fundamentals of drawing, then had a go at drawing faces and finished off with a little perspective. As you can see from the photo's my students were amazing. So eager to learn and brave enough to give it go, even though most of them hadn't drawn since school! I am so proud of all of them and hope this is the start of some great creative sketchbooks. This course will be running again on the 14th Nov 2018, if you fancy giving it a go, contact Sue Green on 02392812822 or email:sgreen@pafg.org.uk

Had a rocky start to this evenings workshop as the weather was so cold it killed the battery in my car! Then the boiler at the school had switch itself off, so we had to try 3 different classrooms before we found one that was warm enough. Still it was worth all the effort as the lovely students that came along were not put off by the weather and the cold didn't dampen their enthusiasm. We looked at line and shape this week and how we could use them to firstly help us see the object we were drawing and secondly how they could help us to draw it. 28/2/18

Wow, we had so many visitors to our end of year show and to our stand at the New Designers Show! It was so exciting to see so many people who wanted to talk to me about my work. Was pleasantly surprised with my sales as well. Yippee! Will be sad to leave Uni though and all the lovely staff and students I have had the privilege to work with over the past 3 years. Don't worry I'll stalk you all on instagram!!! ha ha

Really happy with my new postcards and business cards. All ready for my end of year show and New Designers in London now. Yay, bring it on!

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us at our Illustration Market. It was lots of fun and so lovely to see you all there. Thank you to all my fellow students for working together to make, set and sell our wares. Well done @johnlihou.illustration and

 @j.gardnerillustration for the poster design.

Nothing like a bit Christmas Craft to get you into a christmassy mood. Thank you to all the boys and girls that came to this workshop at The Spring in Havant. I really enjoyed seeing you all and your christmassy creations
